Workshops held in Koseli School, School for slum and street children, Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Goal
My goal is to explore our surroundings, create art for the community and introduce sustainable ideology to the kids with fun, engaging way. One workshop lasted 3 weeks, 6 days a week and I teached two workshops in total. To achieve my goal in this workshop I had multiple different themes and techniques.

The Groups
The Environmental workshop was held in English, and I had also one teacher normally involved if we had translation problems with kids. The group age ranged from 10 year olds to 16 year olds.  If kids were interested to continue with some topics, I was flexible to change the plan to fit their interests.

Each theme included physical or intellectual challenge. Those were example; How we experience our surrounding with our senses? What do we like about our surroundings? What is positive? What is negative? How we could change these negatives towards positives? How to maintain the positives for the future? In the end we made stencil art our of the positives in our surrounding.
